APPLICATION
Antistatic Oil & Gas Layflat Hose — Heavy Wall
Heavy-wall version of the antistatic TPU layflat hose, for fuel and oilfield transfer lines needing a higher burst class than the standard grade. Positively buoyant in fresh and sea water, antistatic through dual longitudinal copper wire straps, in lengths to 600 ft.
The supplier publishes burst pressure only, and the figures in this table are its precalculated values. Maximum working pressure is 25% of the listed burst (a 4:1 safety factor) for hazardous or flammable liquids, and 50% (2:1) for non-hazardous, non-flammable liquids. Check that the end coupling is rated for the same pressure. Recommended operating pH range is 5 to 9.
Also available: the standard range (435–655 PSI burst, 1½″–12″) and Extreme Duty (2500 PSI burst, 4″–5″).
