APPLICATION
FUELMAN Antistatic Oil & Gas Layflat Hose
Thermoplastic polyurethane layflat hose for transferring fuels and other liquid hydrocarbons, and for general-purpose antistatic service. It is positively buoyant in fresh and sea water, light enough to deploy and recover by hand, and available in section lengths over 200 m. Meets MIL-PRF-370J; made under ISO 9001:2015.
Working pressure is derived rather than published: the maximum is 25% of the listed burst (a 4:1 safety factor) for hazardous or flammable liquids, and 50% (2:1) for non-hazardous, non-flammable liquids. Check that the end coupling is rated for the same pressure. Recommended operating pH range is 5 to 9.
Also available in heavier walls: Heavy Wall (850–900 PSI burst, 2″–6″) and Extreme Duty (2500 PSI burst, 4″–5″).

REINFORCEMENT
Circular woven textile weave with dual longitudinal copper wire straps bonded to the hose body and connected to the end coupling for antistatic continuity
COVER
Heavy-duty thermoplastic polyurethane, resistant to UV, ozone, fuels, weathering, hydrolysis and commonly used chemicals
